Erin taught in the Minneapolis Public Schools for five years, where she initiated a grant that brought funds to the school for Responsive Classroom training, then in a Minneapolis charter school for five years, where the Responsive Classroom and Developmental Designs approaches were practiced rigorously and with great success. She has taught grades three through eight and middle level math and science. She facilitates Responsive Classroom and Developmental Designs workshops. As a consulting teacher, she guides implementation of both approaches in elementary and middle-level schools.
