Scott taught 5^th through 8^th grades for 14 years. He co-organized, directed, and taught in La Crosse's first multiage middle-level charter school, where he developed curriculum that integrated arts and technology to inspire and challenge students. He has facilitated Responsive Classroom and Developmental Designs workshops and consulted in middle schools for eight years.
