Focused Follow-up Workshops
Purpose
To support professional growth in the Responsive Classroom approach after in-depth Responsive Classroom training, on-site coaches offer follow-up meetings and workshops tailored to individual schools' needs, as well as standard workshops.
Process
On-site follow-up professional meetings and workshops are designed to meet the specified needs of a school and in response to long-range plans for school growth. Consulting teachers plan the professional-development experience with administrators, selecting from a list of standard shorter workshops or tailoring a mini-workshop or meeting in response to a particular issue or need. They can be presented at staff meetings, after-school, early-release, and professional-development-day workshops.

Creating Adult Agreements
Begin establishing a healthy adult community by collaboratively creating staff agreements with your colleagues.
Creating and Maintaining Effective Routines
Learn how to establish classroom routines that run smoothly. Gain strategies for maintaining routines, so they function all year long.
First Six Weeks
Explore the social and academic goals for the first six weeks of the school year and have opportunities to plan the introduction of Responsive Classroom practices in their classroom.
Consulting Teachers
Consulting teachers who provide on-site workshops and staff meeting support have all successfully used the strategies they teach and demonstrate. They have been extensively trained and are nationally certified to facilitate Responsive Classroom and/or Developmental Designs workshops, and are skilled in helping educators reach their goals.
