On-site follow-up professional meetings and workshops are designed to meet the specified needs of a school and in response to long-range plans for school growth. Consulting teachers plan the professional-development experience with administrators, selecting from a list of standard shorter workshops or tailoring a mini-workshop or meeting in response to a particular issue or need. They can be presented at staff meetings, after-school, early-release, and professional-development-day workshops.
